Mobile & Internet Banking Applications Team Leader

About the role

The Mobile & Internet Banking Applications Team Leader oversees the daily operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the bank’s digital channels. The role ensures high performance, regulatory compliance, and a seamless customer experience while guiding a specialist team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of specialists supporting mobile and internet banking applications.
• Monitor platform availability, reliability and performance; supervise updates, patches and new feature releases.
• Act as primary escalation point for technical issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain detailed incident logs, audit reports and ensure compliance with PCI DSS, PSD2, GDPR and local regulations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams and external vendors to gather requirements, validate enhancements and ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Support UX/UI improvements, analyze customer feedback and usage trends to drive service enhancements.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, security measures and compliance procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in digital banking, IT operations or fintech applications.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or team‑lead role is preferred.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with mobile banking platforms.
• Experience with internet banking platforms and APIs.
• Knowledge of security protocols and standards such as PCI DSS, PSD2 and GDPR.
• Incident management and root‑cause analysis.
• Vendor management and coordination.
