M&R Engineer, BTOR

About the role

Mondelēz International is looking for an M&R Engineer (BTOR) in its 10th Ramadan facility. The expert brings deep technical mastery of the process and equipment and leads the planning, process development and implementation of planned maintenance elements in a continuous improvement manufacturing environment, managing teams of technical and non-technical staff, support contractors and operations personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with line leaders to deliver the SQCDSM targets (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability and Morale) and ensure process stability
• Take part in daily management system meetings at shift and line level
• Own the technology, process and centerline settings, the progressive maintenance systems and KPIs, and the line's repairs and maintenance budget
• Develop, own and run preventive and time-based maintenance plans, and spend at least 50% of time building the technicians' skills so they can operate and maintain their equipment
• Lead the PM pillar at line level and partner with the Asset and Reliability team on special maintenance tasks
• Handle change management on the line, spare localization, breakdown analysis and R&M cost reduction
• Act as the site technology owner in regional and global technology forums, help with internal and external benchmarking, and train colleagues on PM topics
• Carry out preventive maintenance, install new devices, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and respond quickly to machine failures to keep production running
• Supervise and train maintenance technicians, negotiate lower prices for parts and supplies, and keep maintenance costs under budget
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety and workplace safety, and follow up on spare parts and consumables
• Take part in IL6S deployment and lead the progressive maintenance work process within it

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Lean methodology background
• Ability to lead a line role, qualify and coach the next level of SWP owners, and act as line leader with goal setting and team coaching

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of AM (Autonomous Maintenance Step 4) and Progressive Maintenance Step 3, including AM and PM standards and TPM Phase 3 and 4 tools
• PLC troubleshooting and technical diagnostics
• Electrical and mechanical breakdown diagnosis and repair
• SAPMRO and ERP knowledge
