.NET Software Team Lead

About the role

Advansys is looking for a .NET Software Team Lead in Nasr City to lead the design, development and maintenance of applications using C#.NET and ASP.NET Core. The role provides technical leadership and guidance to developers throughout the SDLC and works closely with Product, QA, DevOps and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable application architectures and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, web APIs and backend services.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and support their technical development.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and identify technical risks, dependencies and performance issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automation and DevOps practices, and participate in Agile/Scrum planning and sprint delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and improve application performance and reliability.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong professional experience in C# and .NET / .NET Core, and good experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs; microservices architecture experience highly preferred.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required skills

• ASP.NET Core and Web API development.
• Object-oriented programming, SOLID principles and software design patterns.
• Git/source control and code review practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Cloud experience, especially Microsoft Azure, is a strong advantage.
