Nursery English Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Nursery English Teacher to join our early years team in New Cairo. You will create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where young children develop language, social and emotional skills through play‑based, child‑centered learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate English learning activities aligned with the nursery curriculum.
• Create a warm, safe and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support children’s language development, social skills, emotional growth and independence.
• Observe, assess and document children’s progress regularly.
• Maintain accurate classroom records and portfolios.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and team members.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding children’s development when required.
• Ensure classroom hygiene, safety and daily routines are followed at all times.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and professional development programs.
• Follow nursery policies, safeguarding procedures and code of conduct.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience teaching in a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
• Understanding of early childhood development and play‑based learning.
• Patient, caring, energetic and child‑focused personality.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
