People Development Manager

About the role

Accor, a group of more than 45 brands, 5,600 hotels, 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations across 110 countries, is hiring a People Development Manager in New Alamein. The role leads the hotel's training and development strategy, manages training programmes and supports staff performance and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the hotel's training strategy, plan and deliver orientation trainings, and supervise the Annual Training Plan
• Create and update training materials and programmes, including managerial training handouts, and coach trainers
• Evaluate training results, follow up completed courses and measure the transfer of learning to operations
• Monitor enrolment and attendance, review guest satisfaction results and identify performance gaps to drive improvement
• Manage training budgets, ensure statutory training requirements are met and prepare development plans for subordinates
• Conduct appraisals for the training team, stay up to date with workplace learning trends and help line managers and trainers solve training problems
• Be present during operations to ensure service quality meets hotel standards and support environmental protection, energy saving and quality management and food safety systems

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 5 years of work experience in a Training Department
• Outstanding level of English
• Prior attendance at courses and seminars in the field
• Leadership, adaptability, proactivity, results-driven approach, strong communication and analytical skills
