Operations Excellence Manager

About the role

The Director role at Project Leadership Community (NZ & AU) is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Alexandria, Egypt. The Director will shape the strategic direction, growth, and engagement of the community, overseeing programs, initiatives and learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead community activities, curate content and discussions, and build partnerships with organisations and professionals.
• Manage operational activities, guide a small team or volunteers, monitor performance indicators and report outcomes to stakeholders.
• Represent the community at events, facilitate cross‑regional collaboration and maintain an inclusive, professional environment.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership experience in project management, PMO or related professional communities.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills, with experience collaborating with executives, consultants and practitioners.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation abilities to engage diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Experience designing or overseeing professional development programmes, events or community‑based learning initiatives.
• Solid organisational and planning skills, including resource allocation and performance‑metric tracking.
• Familiarity with digital collaboration tools, social platforms and online community engagement practices.
