Patient Care Lead – Egypt

About the role

The Patient Care Lead supports and manages Patient Support Programs, ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate assistance throughout their treatment journey. Acting as a trusted advocate, the role removes barriers to care, coordinates services, and provides education and guidance to patients both in the field and the office.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely enrolment of eligible patients and maintain accurate patient files in line with program standards.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and support sites to facilitate medication delivery and program implementation.
• Prepare regular performance reports, monitor quality assurance metrics, and manage electronic patient records.
• Conduct field visits, support governance activities, and provide training to new team members.
• Maintain compliance with international standards, Axios policies, and applicable laws, including adverse event reporting.

Required profile

• A degree in a scientific or healthcare‑related field is preferred; hands‑on experience in healthcare, NGOs, or scientific settings is ideal.
• Experience in data monitoring, logistics/supply‑chain coordination, and customer service management.
• Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including visits to clients and partners.
