People & Culture Senior Manager

About the role

Lychee is seeking a senior leader to head its People & Culture function across a fast‑growing retail and FMCG business. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape HR strategy, drive cultural initiatives and ensure operational excellence as the company expands into new markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the entire HR function, aligning people strategies with business objectives in retail and FMCG.
• Manage and develop the HR leadership team, including the HR Operations Manager and Talent Section Head.
• Design and implement people strategies that support growth, employee engagement and a strong organizational culture.
• Oversee HR operations such as payroll coordination, employee records, policy compliance and lifecycle management.
• Drive talent acquisition, employer branding and retention across retail, corporate and supply‑chain roles.
• Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews and development planning.
• Develop learning and development programs to build capabilities, leadership pipelines and succession plans.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, internal policies and HR best practices, especially for field and retail workforces.
• Partner with senior leaders on workforce planning, restructuring and organizational development.
• Champion employee engagement and culture initiatives to foster an inclusive, high‑performance environment.
• Monitor HR metrics (turnover, hiring efficiency, engagement, absenteeism) and provide actionable insights.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience in a retail or FMCG environment.
• Strong track record of managing HR teams and delivering strategic HR initiatives.
• Deep understanding of HR operations, talent acquisition, performance management and learning & development.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to drive cultural change and employee engagement.
