People Operations Team Lead

About the role

Unilever is looking for a People Operations Team Lead to oversee the daily HR operations of its Cairo hub. You will ensure smooth business‑as‑usual activities, drive process simplification, and support the employee experience for teams across NAMET‑RUB, Europe and UKI.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain operational activities and KPIs/SLAs for the Cairo hub while identifying simplification and automation opportunities.
• Act as the focal point for all system‑related activities (releases, quality, data reporting) with global teams and stakeholders.
• Lead HR Operations projects and continuously improve data integrity across day‑to‑day processes.
• Manage employee data in Workday for hires, moves, promotions, exits, merit/bonus plans, and cost centers.
• Coordinate with third‑party providers for relocation cases and ensure accurate payroll interfaces between systems (e.g., TRS, T&A).
• Perform data‑hygiene audits, correct tagging, and provide utilization data from benefits providers.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading HR operations teams.
• Strong focus on data integrity, process improvement, and service quality.
• Ability to coordinate with global HR, talent, and payroll partners.
