About the role
We are looking for a People & Talent Partner to join Pemo’s growing Egypt team. In this role you will own the day‑to‑day HR operations, support recruitment and help shape a positive employee experience in a fast‑moving fintech environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own day‑to‑day HR operations for the Egypt team, including onboarding, offboarding, documentation, HRIS accuracy and compliance.
- Anticipate and resolve employee issues proactively, managing routine employee‑relations matters with fairness and discretion.
- Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for junior to mid‑level roles, ensuring a seamless candidate experience and building talent pipelines.
- Support workforce planning and organization design to align team structures with business goals.
- Support learning, development and engagement initiatives, including internal trainings, team events and culture‑building activities.
- Ensure a structured onboarding experience that sets new hires up for success in their first 90 days.
- Maintain accurate HR data and dashboards (attrition, time‑to‑hire, attendance, probation outcomes) and use insights to inform improvements.
- Communicate HR policies and updates clearly, ensuring all employees understand processes, benefits and expectations.
- Continuously improve HR processes, from onboarding workflows to recruitment steps and HRIS usage.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of experience in People Operations, HR or Talent Acquisition, preferably in a tech or startup environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Proven experience managing both recruitment and people‑operations processes end‑to‑end.
- Highly organized, proactive and detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build strong relationships with managers and employees.
- Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality and a people‑first mindset.
- Eager to learn, contribute and grow within a dynamic fintech environment.
