Pharmacist (Full‑time, On‑site)

About the role

El Khabiry Pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join its community‑focused team in Cairo. This full‑time, on‑site position involves dispensing medications, counseling patients, and ensuring safe pharmacy operations.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines.
• Review prescriptions for completeness, potential interactions, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide clear counseling on medication use, side effects, storage, and precautions.
• Monitor for drug interactions, contraindications, and resolve medication‑related issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date patient profiles and proper documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian pharmacy regulations.
• Manage inventory: ordering, stock rotation, expiry checks, and record‑keeping.
• Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and support high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist in Egypt with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, drug interactions, and dosage calculations.
• Excellent patient counseling and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, organizational ability, and ethical practice.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site, including shifts, weekends, and peak hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy software.
• Experience with electronic prescription systems (advantageous).
