Planning Associate Manager - Technical Commercial

About the role

Hyde Park Developments is hiring a Planning Associate Manager for its technical commercial projects in New Cairo. The role covers project planning, schedule control, progress reporting and coordination with development, commercial, project management and handover teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed master schedules using Primavera P6, defining activities, logic links, critical paths and milestones.
• Track actual progress against the baseline schedule regularly and prepare performance reports such as S-curves, histograms, earned value reports and lookahead schedules.
• Analyze schedule variances and delays and recommend recovery or acceleration plans.
• Coordinate with development, commercial, project management and handover departments, and take part in progress meetings presenting schedule updates, risks and forecasts.
• Identify schedule risks, conduct delay analysis and prepare time impact assessments (TIA), proposing preventive and corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and ad-hoc planning reports and keep documentation of schedule revisions, baseline updates and progress records in line with internal planning standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture Engineering or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in project planning.
• Strong knowledge of master scheduling for different developments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and strong leadership, communication and presentation abilities.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Excel.
• Solid knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and project control techniques.
• Critical Path Method (CPM), risk analysis and time impact assessment.
• Resource planning, reporting and data visualization.
