Planning Engineer – Manufacturing & Production Planning

About the role

The Planning Engineer will develop and maintain project and manufacturing schedules, coordinate material planning, and monitor production performance to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, develop and update project and manufacturing schedules using Primavera P6, including WBS, baselines and detailed production plans.
• Perform material requirements planning (MRP) in SAP, coordinate with procurement and warehouse, and ensure material availability.
• Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and propose corrective actions to meet delivery dates.
• Prepare regular planning reports, KPI dashboards and variance analyses for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in production/manufacturing planning, preferably in steel fabrication, metal industries or engineering manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and coordination skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Primavera P6.
• Practical experience with SAP (production and material planning modules).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
