HSE Specialist

About the role

Intertrade Co. is seeking a hands‑on HSE Specialist to lead health, safety and environmental activities across its manufacturing facility in 10th of Ramadan City. The role involves daily implementation, monitoring, documentation and continuous improvement of HSE processes.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce HSE procedures, conduct regular shop‑floor safety inspections and correct unsafe conditions.
• Maintain all HSE documentation, risk assessments, JSA/JHA, PPE compliance and fire‑fighting equipment records.
• Develop, test and coordinate emergency response plans, fire drills and evacuation procedures.
• Investigate incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are closed.
• Monitor ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliance, support internal and external audits, and prepare HSE KPI reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• 1–3 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Egyptian occupational safety and environmental regulations.
• Professional certifications in HSE, OSHA, fire safety or first aid are a plus.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation and environmental waste handling.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
