Planning Engineer – Production & Material Planning

About the role

The Planning Engineer will support the conversion of sales forecasts into actionable material and production plans. Working closely with production, procurement and warehouse teams, the role ensures that resources are allocated efficiently to meet client delivery expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Translate sales plans into annual material plans and production resource plans.
• Coordinate with Production Managers to align manpower, machine capacity and floor space.
• Work with the Warehouse Manager to guarantee raw material and finished‑goods storage availability.
• Maintain up‑to‑date production and procurement schedules.
• Monitor daily progress, generate weekly and monthly status reports, and analyse schedule deviations.
• Conduct basic Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and develop purchasing plans.
• Serve as liaison between pre‑press, procurement and production teams to ensure client requirements are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Applied Arts or a related scientific field.
• 0–1 years of experience in production planning or a similar role.
• Residency in 6th of October, El Sheikh Zayed or Qalyubia.
