About the role
The Plasma Processor is responsible for handling donor plasma units and samples in a regulated medical environment. The role involves freezing, labeling, packaging, and shipping plasma and related samples while ensuring compliance with SOPs and cGMP standards.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and process donor samples for testing and storage.
- Label samples and freeze units for final packing within required timeframes.
- Pack plasma units and samples for shipment to testing laboratories.
- Monitor stored products to ensure time‑sensitive requirements are met.
- Report equipment conditions and maintain area equipment and supplies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure donor confidentiality.
- Communicate with other service areas to guarantee quality and documentation accuracy.
- Report unsafe working situations to supervisors.
Required profile
- Graduate of a Nursing program or Health Technical Institute (or equivalent).
- No prior experience required; customer‑service experience is a plus.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic.
Required skills
- Basic proficiency with MS Office.
