Primary Market Research Consultant

About the role

IQVIA is looking for an experienced Primary Market Research Consultant to support the design and delivery of qualitative and quantitative research projects in the healthcare and life sciences industry. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to turn business questions into research approaches, generate actionable insights and deliver high-quality recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and execution of primary market research projects and workstreams, translating client requirements into effective research approaches.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses and develop discussion guides, questionnaires, analysis plans and other research materials.
• Review and interpret data, identify key findings and prepare client-ready reports and presentations.
• Take part in client meetings and present study findings, while proactively flagging project risks and escalating issues.
• Support project management, including timeline tracking and coordination with internal teams and vendors, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Support proposal development, including research design and costing inputs, and identify opportunities for follow-on work.
• Build expertise in research methodologies, therapeutic areas and healthcare trends through internal training and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is an advantage.
• 4+ years of experience in primary market research, healthcare consulting, life sciences or a related field.
• Experience supporting both qualitative and quantitative research projects.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and strong collaboration skills.

• Basic project management and client interaction experience.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills using PowerPoint and data visualization tools.
