Printer Technician

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Printer Technician to join our team in Heliopolis. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining a wide range of printer models and related equipment in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test printers, inks, and basic networking connections on site.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, performing repairs as needed.
• Carry out routine maintenance and preventive checks to ensure optimal printer performance.
• Respond promptly to technical support requests from customers and internal teams.
• Document service activities, manage spare parts and consumables, and keep accurate service records.
• Provide clear guidance to users on printer operation, troubleshooting, and care.

Required profile

• Strong background in printer support, installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair.
• Solid technical support and troubleshooting abilities with a focus on root‑cause analysis.
• Working knowledge of desktop computers, basic hardware components, operating systems, and connectivity required for printer integration.
• Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in electronics, IT, or related fields (preferred).
• Experience in a similar field‑service or technician role, especially in printing or IT hardware (advantageous).
• Ability to read technical manuals, use diagnostic tools, and follow safety and service standards.
