Professor / Associate Professor / Lecturer in Economics

About the role

The Faculty of Economics & Business Administration seeks qualified candidates to join its teaching staff as a Professor, Associate Professor, or Lecturer in Economics. The appointment will commence in September 2026 or February 2027, depending on the selected candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Economics and Financial Economics, such as Principles of Economics, International Finance, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Statistics, Applied Econometrics, and advanced topics.
• Develop innovative pedagogical approaches and contribute to curriculum design.
• Conduct independent and applied research, publish findings, and secure research funding.
• Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.
• Participate in departmental committees and academic service activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Economics or Financial Economics.
• Minimum of three years of relevant professional or academic experience.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Strong record of independent research and publications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
