Program Manager – Head of PMO for Digital Banking Transformation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager / Head of PMO to establish, lead, and continuously improve project and program governance across our organization. The role will oversee a portfolio of strategic initiatives that support our digital banking transformation, ensuring alignment between business objectives and execution. The ideal candidate will drive delivery excellence across multiple workstreams and act as a key partner to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Project Management Office (PMO) and define governance frameworks, methodologies, standards, and reporting structures.
• Drive PMO maturity and continuous improvement initiatives across all programs.
• Manage a portfolio of strategic business and technology initiatives, prioritising projects based on organisational objectives.
• Monitor inter‑dependencies, risks, resource allocation and delivery timelines to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to define strategic priorities and provide regular portfolio updates.
• Oversee project health, milestones, budgets and resource utilisation, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and capacity planning, monitoring financials and resource allocation across programmes.
• Lead organisational change management activities associated with major initiatives and promote best practices in project delivery.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in project and program management.
• 5+ years leading PMO functions or enterprise‑wide programmes.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale technology transformation initiatives.
• Strong executive stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
