Project Control Lead

About the role

Dawam Business Solutions is looking for a Project Control Lead in the New Administrative Capital, reporting to the Project Control Manager. The role covers schedule and cost control across the project lifecycle, from early concept through execution, and works with all project disciplines, site management and third parties.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the project schedule, manpower and quantity reporting, and prepare the Critical Items Action Report; prepare recovery plans for delays
• Integrate project cost control and reporting, collect cost data, issue cost reports and prepare cost forecasts
• Manage the budget from early concept through development, including budget breakdowns, estimates and follow-up
• Review the tender package and Bill of Quantities, monitor projected expenditure against the budget, and prepare cash flow forecasts
• Evaluate technical and financial proposals, value engineering, and approve variation orders, contractor and consultant invoices and payments
• Prepare monthly cost performance reports and present cost analysis when required
• Participate in training classes and on-the-job training programs

Required profile

• Age 35 to 40, male
• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Architecture), preferably from a government university (Helwan, Ain Shams, Cairo, Zagazig, Mansoura, Alexandria)
• Excellent English
• Preferred industries: real estate development and construction
• Results-oriented, flexible, detail-oriented, with complex problem-solving skills

• Primavera P6, BOQ and tendering
• MS Office, Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, ERP, PRMG, PMP, IPMA
