Project Engineer – Pharmaceutical Engineering

About the role

Grifols is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate pharmaceutical engineering projects within its GE GMEA division. The role will ensure projects meet process requirements, regulatory standards and defined objectives while supporting the company’s mission to improve global healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise pharmaceutical engineering projects and feasibility studies, ensuring technical quality, scope, timeline and budget compliance.
• Collaborate with Validation and Production teams on equipment and facility qualification, commissioning and compliance with quality, health and safety regulations.
• Design, calculate and oversee equipment and installations; generate engineering documentation for procurement and installation.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors, negotiate terms and supervise their work.
• Define scope, schedule and budget for feasibility studies and resolve issues during commissioning.
• Select and allocate resources, organize client meetings, supervise technical office staff and provide functional leadership to engineers.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical engineering or a related industry, with proven team‑leadership experience.
• University degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) in engineering or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong orientation toward service, quality, integrity and results.
