Proposals Engineer

About the role

Sabbour Consulting is seeking a Proposals Engineer to lead the preparation and management of technical and financial proposals for client tenders. The role involves ensuring proposals are compliant, competitive, and aligned with the firm’s capabilities while collaborating with internal and external partners throughout the bid lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, RFPs, and specifications to identify technical, commercial, and compliance requirements.
• Develop tailored technical and financial proposals in coordination with the technical team.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, subcontracting, overheads, and profit margins.
• Obtain quotations from subcontractors and sub‑consultants and integrate them into proposals.
• Coordinate inputs from internal stakeholders to ensure accurate costing and pricing.
• Participate in proposal review meetings with Business Development and client representatives.
• Incorporate client feedback, revised scopes, or updates into proposals.
• Ensure timely submission of high‑quality, fully compliant proposals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience for senior level or 2+ years for engineer level.
• Strong communication, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
