Purchasing Specialist – Cosmeceutical Products

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Purchasing Specialist to manage the end‑to‑end procurement of materials and promotional items for our cosmeceutical portfolio. The role will focus on supplier sourcing, cost negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery to support production and marketing needs.

Key responsibilities

• Source and evaluate new suppliers for requested materials and items.
• Review purchase requests from Planning, assessing lead times, quantities, delivery dates, and inventory levels.
• Convert approved requests into purchase orders while meeting defined KPIs.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve or improve benchmark costs.
• Issue purchase orders with approved quantities, pricing, and schedules.
• Follow up with suppliers to guarantee accurate and on‑time deliveries.
• Coordinate with Budget Control to verify purchasing budgets and approvals.
• Act as an on‑ground buyer for urgent or ad‑hoc procurement needs.
• Manage procurement of loyalty and promotional items.
• Liaise directly with local suppliers, handling cash advances when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum two years of experience in a buyer or procurement role, preferably in pharmaceutical or FMCG.
• Strong understanding of the full purchasing cycle, supplier sourcing, and cost negotiation.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high accuracy.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo or SAP.
