Purchasing Supervisor

About the role

The Purchasing Supervisor ensures smooth procurement operations by maintaining clear communication with suppliers and coordinating with internal departments to meet project purchasing needs.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with vendors and internal entities to support purchasing activities and meet business requirements.
• Collect and verify purchase requests and material requisitions from project managers and technical offices.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing and Logistics departments to process orders, track status, and resolve issues.
• Review invoices against quotations and purchase orders for accuracy.
• Maintain and update the purchasing database and generate regular reports for the Purchasing Section Head.
• Identify gaps or risks in purchasing operations and recommend preventive or corrective actions.
• Handle purchasing tasks directly for budgets below 2,500 LE in coordination with project managers.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and relevant procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Good command of English.
• Professional certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
