QA Engineer – 12‑Month Contract (Remote, CET timezone)

About the role

Insense is looking for a full‑time QA Engineer on a 12‑month contract to ensure the quality and reliability of its creator‑marketing platform. You will work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle, from requirement review to release validation and production issue investigation.

Key responsibilities

• Test new features, improvements, and bug fixes across web applications.
• Validate key user flows, edge cases, and regression scenarios.
• Identify and communicate quality risks before they reach production.
• Review requirements and acceptance criteria early to spot gaps and potential issues.
• Prioritise testing based on product risk, combining structured and exploratory approaches.
• Investigate issues using logs, monitoring, and analytics tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer testing web applications.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and test design.
• Ability to review requirements, raise questions, and identify risks before development starts.
• Experience working in Agile, cross‑functional product teams.

Required skills

• Manual, exploratory, functional, regression and API testing.
• Postman (or similar) for API testing.
• SQL and GraphQL for data validation and investigation.
• Familiarity with monitoring/analytics tools such as Sentry, Rollbar, Amplitude.
• Use of AI tools to improve testing and investigation workflows.
