Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Engineer will lead the implementation and maintenance of the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards. You will work closely with engineering, construction, procurement and operations teams to ensure that quality requirements are fully integrated throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Project QMS according to ISO 9001 and project‑specific requirements.
• Develop, review and control Project Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans, Method Statements and related documentation.
• Participate in internal and external audits, monitor compliance and support corrective action follow‑up.
• Identify non‑conformances, issue NCRs and lead root‑cause investigations.
• Analyse quality trends, prepare KPI dashboards, audit reports and management presentations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed quality requirements into execution and handover activities.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and ensure proper documentation for project close‑out.

Required profile

• Proven experience with ISO 9001‑based Quality Management Systems.
• Strong knowledge of audit processes, non‑conformance handling and corrective‑preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ability to produce and control quality documentation throughout a project lifecycle.
• Experience working in construction, engineering or related project environments.
