Reception Agent

About the role

Naama Bay Promenade Sharm El Sheikh, a 522-room hotel managed by Accor with a private beach in the heart of Naama Bay, is looking for a Reception Agent. The role covers guest welcome, check-in and check-out, reservations, cash handling and liaison with other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and build friendly, personalised relationships to encourage loyalty.
• Handle guest complaints and remarks promptly, respecting the 15-minute response rule.
• Complete arrival and departure procedures and inform guests of conditions, formalities and hotel services.
• Handle phone calls and pass information to floor staff, technical teams and colleagues.
• Keep documents, products and provisions up to date.
• Handle reservations and prepare and serve snacks or breakfast outside restaurant hours.
• Respect invoicing and cash procedures and manage the cash under your responsibility.

Required profile

• Substantial experience in a customer-facing role in hospitality or an equivalent service environment.
• Proficient English; fluency in Italian or Russian is required, and additional languages are an advantage.
• Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Reliable cash handling and accurate financial transactions.

Required skills

• Competence in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Prior experience with Opera or a related system is an asset.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, good listening and presentation skills, and a sales-oriented approach.
