About the role
The Reconciliation Specialist will ensure accurate daily reconciliation of medical claims and resolve any claim rejections. Working closely with the Claims Audit, Billing, Coding, and Clinical teams, you will help maintain compliance with payer contracts and hospital policies.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation activities for medical claims.
- Investigate and resolve claim rejections promptly.
- Prepare claim resubmissions and detailed reconciliation reports.
- Collaborate with Claims Audit, Billing, Coding, and Clinical departments to ensure data accuracy.
- Monitor reconciliation performance metrics and ensure adherence to payer contracts.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Dentistry.
- 1–3 years of experience in Claims Auditing, preferably within a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management, medical claims, insurance contracts, and claim resubmission processes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting abilities.
