About the role
Paymob is seeking a Regional Acquisition Team Lead to drive payment acquisition strategy and outbound sales across the GCC, primarily the UAE. You will lead a team of acquisition specialists, expand merchant adoption of our payment solutions, and accelerate revenue growth through strategic partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and scale the payment acquisition pipeline across GCC markets to meet revenue and merchant targets.
- Coach, mentor, and develop the acquisition team to improve sales performance and conversion rates.
- Drive strategic acquisition of merchants and payment partners using consultative selling and market insights.
- Monitor sales KPIs, pipeline health, and forecasting to ensure consistent target achievement.
- Build and maintain strong merchant relationships to maximize retention and long‑term value.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to align solutions with market needs.
- Identify market opportunities, competitive trends, and growth initiatives within the payments ecosystem.
- Ensure CRM accuracy, reporting discipline, and continuous sales process optimization.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of B2B sales, merchant acquisition, or payment solutions experience with team leadership.
- Strong exposure to GCC markets and regional payment ecosystems.
- Proven track record in FinTech, Payments, SaaS, Telecom, or FMCG.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in pipeline management, forecasting, and sales performance optimization.
- Fluent English.
