Registered Nurse – Medical Intensive Care Unit – Nights

About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our 12‑bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) on the night shift. The unit provides specialized care for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical conditions under the guidance of a dedicated intensivist team.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and protocols.
- Implement, monitor, and communicate individualized patient care plans.
- Coordinate care among multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Accurately follow physician and nursing orders.
- Assess discharge planning needs and collaborate with the care team.
Required profile
- Valid Alabama RN licensure prior to employment.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (obtainable within 30 days of hire).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (obtainable within 6 months of hire).
