Retail Design & Delivery Manager

About the role

The Retail Design & Delivery Manager leads the end‑to‑end design and fit‑out process for retail units, ensuring they meet brand standards, safety regulations, and commercial objectives. You will act as the primary liaison between tenants, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high‑quality retail environments on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve tenant retail designs, shop drawings, and fit‑out submissions, ensuring compliance with mall guidelines and technical standards.
• Manage the delivery of retail units from design approval through fit‑out completion and store opening, monitoring timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify progress, compliance, and safety.
• Serve as the main point of contact for tenants, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal departments to resolve issues and meet fit‑out deadlines.
• Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and construction teams, reviewing technical drawings and identifying potential conflicts.
• Perform snagging inspections and oversee issue resolution before handover to ensure high‑quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in retail design, fit‑out, or commercial project delivery, preferably in shopping malls or mixed‑use developments.
• Strong knowledge of retail fit‑out processes, tenant coordination, and construction standards.
• Excellent project‑management, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple retail projects simultaneously.
