Retail Trainer

About the role

The Retail Trainer will work full‑time on‑site in Heliopolis, developing the product knowledge and selling skills of our beauty advisors across COLORS Beauty stores. You will design, deliver and continuously improve training programs that enhance customer experience and boost conversion rates.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver in‑person training sessions, workshops and on‑the‑job coaching covering product features, application techniques and sales best practices.
• Conduct regular in‑store coaching, observe customer interactions and provide actionable feedback.
• Create training materials such as manuals, presentations and quick‑reference guides.
• Coordinate onboarding and ongoing training calendars with store managers.
• Track training effectiveness through assessments and performance metrics.
• Stay up‑to‑date on new brands, launches and promotional campaigns.
• Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.

Required profile

• Strong training and facilitation abilities with experience delivering engaging in‑person sessions.
• Solid retail and customer‑service background in beauty, cosmetics or fragrance sales.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and planning capabilities for managing training calendars and materials.
• Good knowledge of makeup, skincare and fragrance categories and a passion for beauty trends.
• Comfortable using basic digital tools (presentation software, spreadsheets, email).
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Heliopolis and travel to other stores as needed.
• Previous experience as a retail trainer, beauty advisor, makeup artist or store supervisor is preferred.
• Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field is an advantage.
