Risk Manager

About the role

The Risk Manager will lead the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of operational, financial, and investment risks associated with the company's activities, particularly within the Egyptian real estate market. You will be the primary decision‑maker for risk monitoring, reporting, and ensuring the Risk Management Manual stays current.

Key responsibilities

• Establish procedures to detect current and potential risks facing the organization.
• Analyze probability and impact of risks, develop forecasting models, perform sensitivity analysis, and produce comprehensive risk reports.
• Create and implement policies to measure, avoid, and mitigate all types of risks, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
• Design and execute risk‑management processes to prevent identified risks from materialising.
• Monitor compliance with Financial Adequacy standards issued by the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA).
• Periodically review and update the Risk Management Manual to reflect evolving goals and market dynamics.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in financial markets, risk management, or related fields.
• Successful completion (or eligibility) of examinations required by the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Deep knowledge of the Egyptian Capital Market Law and Real Estate Investment Funds (REIFs).
