Senior Analyst, SC Finance & External Manufacturing (MENAP)

About the role

Mondelēz International is hiring a Senior Analyst for its Supply Chain Finance and External Manufacturing function in the MENAP region, based in Cairo. The role owns the COGS P&L end to end, combining financial planning, forecasting and cost control with close collaboration across manufacturing and supply chain teams. It is a forward-looking position that shapes cost structures, margins and key business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed finance work, data collection and structuring under the Finance Manager, keeping information accurate and monitoring reconciliations and basic checks and controls.
• Take part in finance planning and performance management, including annual contract planning and forecasting, target development, financial reporting and analysis, financial modelling and decision support.
• Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment and run ad hoc analyses and projects requested by the Senior Finance Manager.
• Manage monthly financial book closures accurately and on time, and prepare, finalise and upload annual plant budgets into SAP, then monitor budget performance and highlight variances.
• Reconcile general ledger balances, consolidate and review scrap losses, and coordinate stock and fixed asset audits.
• Analyse cost variances, monitor plant KPIs, prepare MIS reports and support cost-saving initiatives with procurement, supply chain and operations teams.
• Provide central support on taxation matters related to plant operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting and Finance or professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA or CPA.
• At least 5 years of accounting and analyst experience.
• Experience in closing activities, analysis and business partnering; finance experience in manufacturing and Sales and Service Tax (SST) is an advantage.
• Ability to work with cross-functional colleagues face to face or virtually via Microsoft Teams, and to adapt to change.

Required skills

• SAP (PP/Costing, COPA and FI modules).
• Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
• Sound grasp of accounting principles and standards.
