Senior Back End Developer (SAP Commerce Cloud)

About the role

As a Senior Back‑end Developer specializing in SAP Commerce Cloud, you will design and deliver high‑quality e‑commerce solutions for complex cross‑system requirements. You will work closely with platform architects, tech leads and DevOps teams to improve performance, automate processes and support continuous integration and deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions following SAP Commerce and Mirakl best practices.
• Collaborate with Platform Architect and Tech Lead on performance improvements and new functionality architecture.
• Participate in troubleshooting, technical analysis and code‑review activities.
• Work with B2B DevOps, Product Manager and Platform Manager to translate business requirements into backlog items, estimate effort and prioritize work.
• Automate manual tasks for building and deploying code and data to enable CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure code quality and timely delivery of tasks.
• Support the growth and success of team members.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of IT experience developing customer systems across multiple technology domains.
• Strong background in front‑ and back‑end web development, especially Java applications.
• Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and Spring framework.
• Familiarity with JSP, JSTL and other J2EE technologies (optional).
• Experience integrating with Mirakl marketplaces.
• Solid understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
• ABAP knowledge is a plus.
• Quality‑focused mindset with testing and deployment best practices.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to see the big picture.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and strong English communication skills.
