Senior Consultant - Primary Market Research (Healthcare)

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a Senior Consultant for primary market research in the healthcare field, based in New Cairo. The consultant delivers primary market research consulting projects or parts of larger, complex projects for life sciences clients, identifies new business opportunities and supports the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in or lead teams in designing, developing and delivering primary market research projects or components of larger ones.
• Analyze client requirements and help develop profitable, cost-effective proposals.
• Guide analysts, consultants and statistical services on each engagement.
• Develop detailed documentation and specifications, and perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses.
• Design and deliver client reports and presentations, and present findings in person or virtually.
• Recommend improvements and alternatives, and follow up with clients after delivery.
• As Project Manager, manage timelines and day-to-day communication with the client and team.
• Identify follow-on work and new leads, and recommend adopting AI-driven solutions.
• Build subject matter expertise in Egypt and deepen knowledge of primary market research methodologies through training.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of experience in primary market research consulting and/or the life sciences industry.
• Solid project management, client influence and relationship-building skills.
• Experience building consultative relationships with senior managers and executives in life science companies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Established network and referral contacts.

Required skills

• Knowledge of primary research and analytical methodologies, tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the life sciences industry.
• Excellent presentation, communication and client influencing skills.
• Subject matter expertise to manage projects within a given CoE.
