Senior Cyber Security Compliance and Assurance

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Compliance and Assurance professional to lead the design and implementation of security guardrails for data and AI initiatives at a leading Egyptian financial institution. You will work closely with AI, data science, and governance teams to embed compliance, mitigate emerging AI‑specific threats, and ensure continuous protection of the bank’s data infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and embed compliance guardrails into the lifecycle of all Data and AI projects, anticipating Central Bank of Egypt regulations and the Egyptian Data Protection Law.
• Lead predictive threat modeling and vulnerability assessments for machine‑learning models, large language models, and big‑data repositories, addressing data poisoning, adversarial attacks, and model inversion.
• Implement and manage automated, real‑time vulnerability scanning and continuous compliance monitoring across the bank’s data infrastructure.
• Partner with data scientists, AI engineers, and governance teams to promote secure coding and data‑handling practices, delivering risk‑readiness workshops.
• Develop and stress‑test predictive incident‑response playbooks for AI assets, leveraging global threat intelligence to simulate data breaches and algorithmic failures.

Required profile

• 4+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity compliance, risk management, or vulnerability assessment.
• Proven track record of working on security for AI/ML solutions in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of Central Bank of Egypt cyber‑security regulations and Egyptian Data Protection Law.
