Senior Design Engineer – Facade & Aluminum

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer specialized in façade and aluminium systems to join our Heliopolis office. The role involves creating precise design layouts, detailed shop drawings and coordinating work orders to meet project specifications. You will work closely with consultants and contractors to ensure all designs are approved and executed to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce professional and accurate design layouts, detailed shop drawings, and comprehensive work orders for façade and aluminium projects.
• Develop and refine shop drawings, then submit them to consultants or contractors for review and approval, either directly or through project coordinators.
• Maintain and update specifications for both standard and non‑standard construction elements, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Manage the resubmission process of shop drawings, incorporating feedback until final approval is obtained from consultants or contractors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of façade designs with overall building architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 3–4 years of experience in façade design, with a strong focus on aluminium systems.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D.
