Senior Embedded Model-based Developer – Control Law

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Embedded Model‑based Developer specialized in control law to design, simulate and validate embedded control software for inverter and motor‑drive applications. The role focuses on model‑based development using MATLAB/Simulink and integration of control algorithms into real‑time hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain control algorithms for electrical and traction inverters, including Field‑Oriented Control, torque, speed, current and voltage control.
• Build, simulate and validate models with MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow, performing MIL, SIL and HIL testing.
• Generate embedded C code from Simulink models using Embedded Coder and support integration on inverter platforms.
• Analyze system behavior, tune control loops, and optimize performance for PMSM, induction or other traction motors.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, systems and testing teams, and produce technical documentation and test reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience with MATLAB/Simulink for model‑based design and real‑time embedded control systems.
• Good knowledge of electric motor control, power electronics, and inverter architectures.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, control block diagrams and understand sensor interfaces.
