Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Foodics is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead critical pieces of its restaurant management platform. You will work across the product lifecycle, from shaping requirements with product owners to designing, shipping, and supporting high‑traffic features in production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development of new features, from requirement refinement to production monitoring.
• Drive technical design of major system changes and establish development standards for the backend team.
• Mentor junior engineers and actively share knowledge while staying open to learning.
• Identify pragmatic opportunities to improve the technology stack and implement them.
• Operate autonomously, proposing solutions and seeing them through without constant supervision.

Required profile

• Strong backend expertise with modern PHP (7/8+), object‑oriented design, and testability.
• Proven ability to deliver production‑ready React and TypeScript features independently.
• Experience scaling high‑traffic web applications, handling database hotspots, caching, queuing, idempotency, and observability.
• Solid practical knowledge of relational databases, especially MySQL, including query optimization.
