Senior HR Specialist – Legal Background Required

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Specialist with a strong legal background to manage HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, and ensure compliance with Egyptian labor law.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract renewals, promotions, disciplinary actions and off‑boarding.
• Prepare, review and maintain employment contracts, HR letters, confidentiality agreements and other employee documentation.
• Develop, implement and periodically review HR policies and internal procedures.
• Monitor attendance, leave, probation periods and contract expiry dates, and support payroll preparation.
• Handle employee grievances, workplace issues and disciplinary matters confidentially.
• Advise management on HR procedures, employee relations and legal implications of employment decisions.
• Ensure HR practices comply with Egyptian Labor Law and keep the company updated on legislative changes.
• Manage recruitment processes, from job posting and CV screening to interview coordination and offer preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies or demonstrable specialization in Egyptian labor and employment law.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in HR, employee relations or a closely related function.
• Proven experience preparing and reviewing employment contracts and handling disciplinary, resignation and termination procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
• High level of professionalism, discretion and ability to work independently.
