Senior HSE Engineer – Manufacturing Safety Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Senior HSE Engineer to lead health, safety and environmental initiatives across our manufacturing operations in Khanka, Qalubia. The role will drive compliance, risk mitigation and continuous improvement of safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular HSE inspections, identify hazards, unsafe acts and conditions.
• Perform risk assessments, JSA, LOTO and follow‑up actions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses, carrying out root‑cause analysis.
• Prepare HSE reports, inspection findings, incident reports and KPI/trend analyses.
• Deliver safety observations, toolbox talks and HSE awareness activities.
• Provide HSE training for employees and contractors and monitor contractor compliance.
• Support emergency response activities, drills and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate technical guidance for HSE Technicians and recommend improvement actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science.
• 3‑5 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, fire‑fighting and lifting & rigging.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business applications.
