Senior Lead Network Engineer - InfiniBand

About the role

Integrant is looking for a Senior Lead Network & Infrastructure Engineer with 14+ years of experience to lead technical work in a fast-paced, complex HPC and AI environment. The role covers Ethernet and InfiniBand fabrics, ideally with hands-on experience in high-performance storage and/or Linux systems operations, and sits at the top of the technical escalation chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop network configurations and architectures, and operate, maintain and support Ethernet and InfiniBand networks in an HPC and AI environment.
• Perform maintenance, upgrades and lifecycle management of network equipment, and monitor health, performance and capacity.
• Resolve network and server incidents, run hardware diagnostics and coordinate replacement of failing components.
• Support Linux-based HPC and AI platforms and collaborate with engineering, platform, storage and client teams.
• Assist with InfiniBand and Ethernet fabric configuration and deployment, and build and maintain automation, scripting, monitoring integrations and infrastructure-as-code.
• Own operational documentation (configuration examples, build guides, runbooks, best practices) and lead design reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Work in the client ticketing system (e.g. TopDesk) to manage incidents and service requests to SLA, and join a weekly on-call rotation.

Required profile

• 14+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise or data center-scale networks.
• Experience in HPC, AI/ML or performance-sensitive environments.
• Strong understanding of data center networking, Layer 2 and Layer 3 concepts, and troubleshooting in complex distributed environments.
• Preferred: hands-on high-performance storage (Lustre, GPFS/Spectrum Scale, BeeGFS, Ceph, NVMe-oF) and production Linux administration (Ansible/Salt, Slurm, containerization).
