Senior Pega Engineer

About the role

InnovationTeam, a technology company delivering innovative solutions to complex business challenges, is looking for a Senior Pega Engineer in Cairo. The successful candidate will design and implement Pega applications that drive business efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement Pega applications that meet business requirements and best practices.
• Work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements for Pega implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues so applications run efficiently.
• Maintain technical documentation of configurations, processes and workflows.
• Mentor junior developers on Pega standards, best practices and methodologies.
• Take part in code reviews and work with the QA team on testing and bug resolution.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and stay up to date with Pega releases.
• Ensure compliance with security standards in all Pega applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Pega development and implementation.
• Pega certification (PCSA or higher) is highly desirable.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
• Arabic speaking is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Pega PRPC and hands-on experience with Pega 8.x.
• Experience with Pega BPM and Case Management.
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs and Pega rules, data types and UI components.
• Proficiency configuring Pega security, user roles and access controls.
• Constellation Architecture experience is highly recommended.
