Senior Planner Specialist

About the role

EVA Pharma, a pharmaceutical company dedicated to improving human health and well-being, is looking for a Senior Planner Specialist in its Operations Business Division. The role runs the material planning process in Oracle, keeping raw materials and packaging aligned with demand plans and production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Run the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process in Oracle, generating, reviewing and optimizing planned orders for raw materials and packaging in line with approved demand plans and production schedules.
• Manage raw material and packaging inventory against safety stock targets and reorder points, flagging shortages, excess or slow-moving stock to the Supply Chain team.
• Determine and dispatch replenishment quantities to the Sourcing team through Oracle, with quantities, required dates and lead times.
• Support the S&OP process with material availability, supply risk inputs and scenario-based recommendations, escalating constraints affecting the production plan.
• Maintain the Bill of Materials in Oracle with demand, supply and MDM planners, checking BOM accuracy and completeness and validating changes.
• Update planning parameters in Oracle such as safety stock, lead times, lot sizes and reorder points.
• Track and reconcile material consumption against production output, investigating variances that may indicate waste, scrap or data issues.
• Lead continuous improvement in material planning, improving forecast accuracy, reducing planning cycle times and optimizing stock levels.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in material planning, production planning or inventory management, preferably in FMCG, consumer goods or consumer health.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• APICS CPIM (or equivalent) is an advantage.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience running MRP in Oracle or an equivalent ERP system.
• Understanding of supply chain planning fundamentals: safety stock, reorder points, lead times, lot sizing and days of cover.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail with large datasets.
