Senior Planning Manager – Real Estate Asset Development

About the role

The Senior Planning Manager will lead the planning function for multi‑use real‑estate developments, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. Reporting to the AFGRE leadership team, you will coordinate planning managers, engineers and consultants across the full development cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and manage Planning Managers and engineers to provide planning advice for all portfolios.
• Develop and maintain a Time Control Management strategy for the entire development lifecycle.
• Resolve claims disputes related to extensions of time, disruption and delay in line with contractual terms.
• Ensure proactive contractual compliance for time control and produce regular performance reports.
• Establish and monitor key project performance indicators throughout the development cycle.
• Implement accurate Earned Value and monthly budget reporting.
• Prepare data for inclusion in development budget projections (cost and revenue) with inputs from commercial, development and design teams.
• Support the preparation and updating of the Project Roll‑Out Plan and advise Development Directors on procurement matters.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in planning and scheduling for large‑scale real‑estate or construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with consultants.
• Strong understanding of contractual requirements, claims management and time control processes.
• Demonstrated competence in budget control, earned value management and performance reporting.
