Senior Procurement Buyer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Buyer to lead the sourcing and purchasing activities for our organization. The role involves managing the full procurement cycle, from supplier selection to contract negotiation and import handling, ensuring cost‑effective and compliant acquisition of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery capabilities.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
• Process purchase orders accurately and maintain up‑to‑date procurement records.
• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with Egyptian regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand and fulfill procurement needs.
• Manage and maintain positive supplier relationships, resolving issues related to pricing, quality, or delivery.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and assist in forecasting future purchasing requirements.
• Handle import procedures and oversee customs clearance when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in end‑to‑end procurement and purchasing.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings.
• Knowledge of Egyptian procurement regulations and customs procedures.
• Ability to work closely with internal teams to align purchasing with business needs.
• Excellent supplier relationship management and issue‑resolution capabilities.
• Analytical mindset to monitor market trends and drive process improvements.
