Senior Public Relations Officer

About the role

AmCham Egypt is looking for a dynamic Senior Public Relations Officer to lead member engagement, retention and growth initiatives. The role focuses on building strong relationships with member companies and promoting AmCham’s programs and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with member companies to ensure high engagement, satisfaction and participation in AmCham activities.
• Drive membership growth by acquiring new companies through networking, events, referrals and outreach to key decision‑makers.
• Prepare and deliver membership presentations, proposals and value propositions, and lead acquisition efforts to meet growth targets.
• Manage onboarding, renewal and ongoing support for members, handling inquiries, escalations and enhancing the overall member experience.
• Monitor market trends and member feedback to identify opportunities and continuously improve membership services, benefits and programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in business development, account management, customer relations, public relations, sales or a similar role.
• Proven ability to engage senior executives and key decision‑makers.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Experience in chambers of commerce, business associations, NGOs or membership‑based organisations is a plus.
