Senior Software QC Engineer

About the role

The Senior Software QC Engineer is responsible for delivering high‑quality software by planning, executing and overseeing both manual and automated testing activities across desktop, web and mobile platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate testing activities following structured processes and schedules.
• Prepare test plans and user acceptance testing (UAT) documentation based on business and technical requirements.
• Design, develop and run manual and automated test cases using Selenium, Java, TestNG and Postman.
• Analyse user stories, requirements and test results to identify defects early.
• Log and track bugs in Jira, produce daily status reports and participate in sprint planning.
• Execute functional, integration, system, performance and regression testing.
• Mentor junior test engineers and promote best‑practice testing standards.
• Ensure test coverage across multiple environments and platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software quality assurance, preferably in a senior role.
• Ability to maintain consistent testing practices across diverse projects.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret requirements and test outcomes.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and tight sprint deadlines.
• Effective communication for reporting and collaboration.
